Dr. med. Axel Baumgartner

Managing Director and Chief Physician

Board certified surgeon with an additional specialisation in emergency medicine. He worked for 8 years in the Department of General and Vascular Surgery in both Berlin and Lüneburg.

Dr. med. Yvonne Frambach

Board certified dermatologist with additional specialisations in allergology and medicinal tumour therapy. From 2002 - 2014 she worked at the University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein, the last 5 years working as a Senior Physician in Lübeck´s Dermatology Clinic.

Dr. med. Ilka Meier-Vollrath

Board certified dermatologist with additional specialisations in allergology. After 7 years at the University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein she came to the Hanse-Klinik Lübeck in 2002 and worked for 10 years as a lipoedema surgeon at Prof. Schmeller’s side.

Prof. Dr. med. Wilfried Schmeller

Board certified dermatologist with additional specialisations in phlebology and allergology. He worked from 1980 to 1998 as a dermatologist focusing on surgical therapies in the Dermatology Department at the University Hospital in Lübeck.
Now in retirement his focus are on the clinic`s scientific issues and studies.
